Their sales representative was very professional and friendly. He took rough measurements. We received a written quote within two days.
About a week after accepting their quote, their fitter visited and took detailed measurements. He was professional, courteous and friendly.
We were contacted a few weeks later and we agreed an installation date.
On the day, the fitter and his assistant arrived on time and got straight on with the job, which was to remove (and dispose of) the old doors and fit the new ones. Despite the weather being very rainy, they took care to leave the place tidy and clean. They put down cardboard on the interior floors to keep it dry and clean. They vacuumed the floor at the end, leaving it clean and tidy.
They spent four hours at the premises.
We are very pleased with doors, which look superb and provide excellent security.
A few days later, someone from the company called to ask what we thought of the doors, and asked if we had any questions.
A further day later we received a 10-year guarantee in the post.

Recently had all of the windows in our 1930s house replaced by Chartwell.  Great service from start to finish - Mark was really patient in helping us find the best product and design for us and our property.  Went with the flush fitting casements in the end and they have transformed our house, well worth the slightly higher price. Excellent installation carried out by Arran and Harry over 4 days. Arrived on time and cleared up at the end of each day. Sales process was great  -not at all pushy. On the first of the 2026 heatwaves our patio doors gave up to the heat. I could not remember who made them some years back and as some friend were very impressed with Chartwell my first thought was maybe they could look at a fix. It was convenient to drop into their office and the result was a visit the same day. No pushy sale mean, just a guy looking at a problem and we asked him to also look at our large adjoining kitchen window which was really old and had issues.

The result was ordering both and in very short time everything was measured and we had a call in about two weeks to arrange fitting. The two guys doing the fitting did a great job on a REALLY hot day and insisting on getting their cleaner to vacuum up dust although I told them to leave it. One small issue was one of the new panels arrived with a crack so they fitted it and said they would get a new one made. A week later I had a call to say our TWO replacement panes were ready !! The fitter could not see why a large door panel was being replaced so looked through the paperwork and found the original fitter had noticed a really tiny grey dot on the inside of the pane so he could not clean it. It was close to impossible to see and I certainly would never have found it.

The bottom line is that we received a very high quality professional service at every stage. I was not about to go through the mill again of inviting pushy salesmen to quote with there" "special offers just for you today" but was very happy with the price and am very happy with the result.

Update 2026: I since moved home and used Chartwell again to replace windows, window glass and a door. They were once again great, offering cost effective solutions where the window frame didn’t need replacing. Installation was quick and the team great. Very pleased we used them a second time.

Chartwell Home Solutions replaced all my windows and front door. From the get go they were brilliant, very responsive and explained all the options in great detail. We got a few quotes and they were the ones which made us feel like they were invested in doing the best job for us, not just getting it done.

The installation was also seamless from my POV. The  team had a few issues (due to the house build) and dealt with everything and still finished on time and left everything cleaner than I did! Chartwell fitted a really lovely set of French doors fitted in our Garden Room in 2020, and came back this week to resit the packers so they closed smoothly. At the time service was quick, efficient and accurate and we've had no problems with the doors since. It's only over the 6 years that there's been a slight drop so the closure wasn't as smooth. Great experience with Chartwell who installed our new composite stable door. Excellent experience from getting the personalised quote from Robert through to a quick, tidy and very efficient installation. Great support throughout the whole experience, providing advice and answers to all of our questions. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to use again for more work in future!
